Today was my first flight of my trex700/YS91SR. when I got the heli in a hover I noticed the HS was very high. So I landed and checked the engine which was very warm. I then rechecked the needles, changed the check valve. Still the problem was there so I checked the fuel tank and changed all the fuel lines etc. Still no luck I never had this issue with my YS91ST. I really don't know what more I can do!

What fuel are you using sounds to me like its running way lean.

Trying not to put them in the dirt.

when it start to go wrong, GO BACK TO BEGINNING. retune with break in settings, that will put you rich if you are still lean ,then you know you are drawing air some where. just my op-ion. thanks for your time

As 1Wolf and Mike indicated, make sure your governor is working perfectly, then set your needles according to the break-in settings for that engine ( from the instruction manual for the YS91SR ).

I use this engine and have never had this problem, and love this engine.

There are really only a few scenarios:

1. Gov not working
2. Needles too lean
3. Fuel Delivery (Cracked Fuel line, clunk or filter clogged)
4. Not getting pressure

Is this happening in normal mode? Check your throttle curves . Normal mode is good with 0-40-70 check everything listed above .

well
I have the same combo.
If this is happening in normal.
check the sv / carberator calibration.
see where mid skick is on the carb.
I think YS carb mid mark is 40%.

Thanks for ur input guys, I had the needle settings as per the manual. So I opened both needles four clicks and now it's purring like a pussycat I'm not using my multigov at the moment since I normally don't use it for the first few flights. I set the throttle like an os engine, if the mid mark is 40% then I have to reset the throttle. I guess this is what happens when all ur other engines r OS and u have only one YS
