one died.. but its just me a lot of other people have good luck. Same thing happens to me on InnoLabs but oh well, its just me. Hard to find a servo that fit stock K3 frame because of stupid slot.

Oh well.. I check the bank account Vermont hasn't give me my money back yet bastards!

Seems like a nice frame. Cheaper than the Xtreme, but there's no front mount battery tray. I solved all my CG issues with the Xtreme front mount battery tray. Also it doesn't say what size boom that is. It'd need to be 10mm to work with the V3 boom and tail.

For now I'll stick to my Xtreme frame. First and still the best CF frame for the HBK2/3.

For the servo's all you have to do is thin out the tabs so it matches the stock servo tab thickness.

Yup. Been out for a while. I've been running one for a couple months along with a red boom and the V3 tail.

I found this frame at xmhobbies it is a spinoff of the 3DX 300 made to take K3 parts and comes with a 10mm tail boom clamp. There is no CF Tail Boom or Tail Box for it listed.

However if you get the 3dx 300 version of this frame it uses a 9mm Tail and they have all the goodies for it a CF Tail Boom and a very good Head and Tail Box (ChopperX style).

I wish I had not bought the K3 version. The K3 Canopy don't fit it and it did not come with Canopy pins. The Battery compartment is a joke it makes you use a small Battery and most of the Battery is left hanging out the frount forcing you to build something to support it. And one of the servo's sticks way out on the left side making it easy to brake because there's nothing to protect it.

After working with this frame my opinion is just get the Xtreme frame with the 10mm tail block or just wait for something better to come out for the K3 because this is a very very sad frame for the K3. (However I saw a 3dx450 Frame there that is sweat)

I got frame last week and its put together nicely. its heavier than stock frame, quiet a bit. I'm not sure materials are carbon fiber, they may be circuit board materials with carbon pattern on it. I can see a few metal parts can be replaced to make it a lot lighter.

Fit and finish is great, every HBK parts fitted like they should.
Only issues I ran int was my rear servo was Standard size I have to flip and reverse gyro/rudder to get it right.

The Canopy didn't FIT but all you have to do is make 2 holes farther back. the holder i just reuse the carbon rod from old frame.

Best thing about this frame is I can now run cheap servo's again!!

I was concern about the servo as well but will see, I'm a master crash tester.

Well anyway, I already flew with the frame and CRASHED tested on pavement. heh. Good news frame survived.
Canopy was toasted, no amount of tape will put it back together.

2 Blades
1 flybar seesaw
1 Canopy
