the best thing to use on carbon fiber frame is diluted alcohol on a clean rag. dont get real sloppy with it, because of the electronics, and the alcohol will leave a film afterwards, so after I wipe it down I clean the film with a dry rag.

Spray with denatured alcohol and blow off immediately with air compressor. Spray and blow, works like magic!

It has been my experience that carbon fiber is impervious to most things. However, if you manage to somehow drip blue Loctite between two carbon fiber plates, it can cause pitting of the surfaces.

You can use Electro-Wash, you can spray and then wipe it off with a dry rag. Maybe you might not need the rag, you gotta be quick to wipe it off because it evaporate really quick. Is a safe chemical or cleaner, you can even spray on the aircraft electronics, contacts and frame. This chemical is specially design for cleaning electrical contacts any wiring, but can be use for other purpose. Another chemical you can use is ZEPP is another cleaner, excellent for plastic, plexi glass, CF, etc. is a foamy like cleaner I highly recommend this one for cleaning anything and Electro-Wash for electrical, but if their is no choice use it. Trust on this info Im a helicopter mechanic for the Coast Guard and we use this chemical in a daily basis + they are safe for you and the aircraft.

The denatured Alcohol is best, easiest on your skin, does the job and lowest cost. Break cleaner works great, very hard on your skin, breaks down the double sided tape holding your gyro on, and runs some plastics! Don't ask me how I know, I "just do"!
