Boy, I sure am bumping into a lot of out-of-stock items these days. Nice the helis are selling, but it seems a little tight for a sole distributor. Dumb stuff too--tail boom, skids I think, one-way-bearing. It's like each of us has to buy defensively and hoard.

Sorry to vent...but what the hey.

These threads are becoming more common. I'm sure readyheli is buying stock as much as Mikado can ship them.

So just buy and hoard defensively...I bought a complete 2nd Logo 600 after selling everything else I had. Its built and ready to maiden. As soon as I maiden it I'll let it sit until its "needed".

That is what I did about 1.5 yrs ago. Bought a 600 kit on here, to steal some parts right off and have all the other for spare parts;
kept messing w. it until I had a complete night-flyer out of it!

Hey now,
The parts lag hit me too. The simple reason is that Mikado shut down for Xmass vacation. Five weeks of Xmass vacation. Damned German labor laws. We should have it so good...

5 week Xmas vacation? Very nice! OK, guess I'll need a little more inventory. The rcflightstore looks like a good emergency source but as I clicked thru to checkout process, the shipping gets really pricy for a one off part such as a one way bearing. I'll lube this one up and see if I can get it to stop squealing to last another week.

They get 5 weeks of vacation!? No wonder German stuff costs so much.

Yeah well, that ain't all either. They also get very long summer breaks too. Never travel to europe in the summer, everything's closed.
Of course the standard of living is lower, seems they value time over money, I like that.

It isn't just the Germans. I have an Italian Road bike and it is hard to get parts in the summer (When you really ride the bike)because they are close for a month.
Alex From RC Market close a month. That is in Belgium.
