I have a hirobo sdx 50. Using 401 gyro, multigov pro, 3 futaba 9252s, 3151 for throttle, and 9254 for the tail. What battery and regulator should I use? I dont fly hard 3d. Also I am using a dx7. I was looking at the fromeco arizona reg with the 7.2v 2400 batt and the pin switch, is this ok? Or should I be looking into something else?

Fromeco makes a FINE product. I've used theirs for years.

It's simpler and less costly to get one of their Sahara regs (also available with pin and flag), set the output for 5.7 volts, and run a simple diode step-down (0.3 V) for the t/r servo. It works perfectly. Their batteries are excellent as well. I use this system in my Eagle 3.

Hyperion life Battery
You can use one of the new Hyperion life packs, and eliminate the regulator. Saves weight and less wiring and things to fail.
Nice and clean. works great on my SDX

Edit. 9252's are 4.8v, you will need a regulator.

yea the servos are 4.8 volt. I saw most regulators do not support 4.8 they are mostly 5.8 volt. like the align 2 in 1 from 7 volts to 5.8? Is there any that go to 4.8 volt?

The Fromeco Arizona regulator is adjustable. Not sure how low it goes, though. Check out their website.

the arizona goes to 5 volts but thats still more then the 4.8 volts for the 9252s. I actually ordered the align 2 in 1 because i liked the glow starter option on it but i think i made a mistake ordering it as its output is 5.8 volts. Should i be looking into something else?
