it shouldn't be that way. their decisions need to be constitutionally driven.
That would be cool. But, its not reality. The decisions they make are based on the majority of political ideology. You just want to be danged careful who you vote in as president. Thats all you can do.
SCOTUS members should be voted into their position just like everyone else.
Never happen.

Don't they make an oath to uphold the constitution?

I wasn't aware they were making an oath to uphold political ideology.

They certainly do. But, political ideology can swing that interpretation around either to the right or the left.

If you don't believe that, then take a peek at SCOTUS rulings on issues over the years. You have to do the research yourself. I am relying on a lifetime of seeing and hearing their rulings.

and the purist in me tells me that shouldn't be the case.

I fully realize their rulings are largely politically motivated. Their appointments are even more so.

how do we stop the demograps from changing law, and writing law into there favor.

they are out of control in california, and write laws, implement laws that are not voted for by the people

This is why conservative media outlets are so very important. They are the only way to get the truth out to most of the people these days.
If it wasn't for FOX most people would still be in the dark about the dirty dealings in congress and all of Obama's lies and half truths.
Look at how the government controlled media tried to hide and then ridicule the tea party movement! Because of FOX and talk radio we won an unbelievable victory in Mass. so it should be possible to do the same in California.

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!

I would not count on that.

Same as in California, Oregon is a very liberal state. The voters here in Oregon actually just passed a massive tax increase on the job creators here. We are all going to pay heavily for that5 because all it will do is run business out of state. The state will get less than expected, then tax increases will trickle down to everyone.

People on the west coast, same as the east coast simply don't get it.

Got to love CARB and their pollution mandates based on S%IT science,
( the guy that they are basing this on has been proved not qualified to write any paper on the subject)and all of the industries that are shutting down this year here.

They don't care that they are wrong
They don't care how many jobs in the midst of this "recession" they cost Kalifornia.

All they care, is about their BS fool based plan for control.

I'm sorry but the greenies in Cal. are especially stupid! I think that when they protest building power plants around their neighborhoods they should be put on a list and the power Co. should go to their homes and cut their power lines right off.
Let them live in the stone age since that's what they want for all of us!
Same goes for gasoline. Protest drilling or refining gas, get put on the nosale list. When they get tired of walking everywhere they might finnally learn something.

Based on what I have seen in the far loony lefty Oregon, I doubt they will learn anything until they have lost everything. Only then will they cry out. Until then, they will simply be unhappy and do everything they can to be sure others feel the same.

I wonder if Obama's henchmen payed their overdue taxes with our money?

Obama ratings are going down.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 26% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove which gives Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15.

In unrelated news, the U.S. Department of Mental Health revealed that 26% of American adults are confused, psychotic, or lame brained.

The Obama Store in Washington DC is now closed and boarded up. Seems like some idiot believed the "Hope and Change" thing and opened up the "My Obama Shop." I'm sorry, I have to take a break from typing...I'm laughing so hard, I can't stay upright.

OK, I am composed now. Needless to say, the operation was not able to open a second store and crack into the wonderful world of franchises.

People are just telling Obama: "We aren't buying your crap anymore!"

The Obama shop, Where everything is at least a thousand times more expensive, more complicated and doesn't work!
They have a "great" credit plan though. All of your money down and no payments, just interest until you and your country are completely broke.

Go to Washington Reagan National airport and the shops in the terminals are littered with BHO bullsh1t.

It disgusts me every time I fly into that airport.

this might be my concern . . .
but the general attitude is the following: if you're all b1tching about him - and you really, really hate the way he is running things - it's far more constructive to discuss about ways/measures to remove him from office.

What do you have to do. What needs to happen for this to be possible?

Or are you stuck for a certain period of time?

Gordon Browns days are numbered. While I do have sympathy for the death of his daugther and the fact that another of his children has an inccurable disease that will mean premature death, this has nothing to do with his how he has literally messed up the country. I think the general British public want him out, and while we have empathy for his personal life, it's his professional life that has shortcomings...

nothing we can do unless he does something impeachable (ala Watergate/Nixon). Nope, we're stuck with him for 3 more years.
But if we can get the Libs out as the majority this year, we will basically have neutered him.
