Are there supposed to be washers between the cage and flybar carrier?

Do you have a part number or specs for these shims?

We really don't sell them as an individual part. E-mail me your address and contact information and I will hook you up with a couple.

You can actually get the play out completely without using spacers at all. All you have to do is tap on the end of the silver pieces that are pressed into the flybar cage ends with the set screws loose. Do this evenly on both ends of the flybar cage ends and the play will be gone without the needs for spacers. The spacers are in the kits to keep people from having to do that themselves, in the event the silver pieces are not quite pressed in far enough to not have any play.

I hope this makes sense.

I kinda didn't read the instructions till after the build . So when I came upon this problem I quickly put them in my mini lathe and took off a skosh .

I have no patience for dropping tiny washers in the carpet !

Brian,
I pressed the silver inserts a tad to remove the gaps, but the set screw pushed them back out (causing play). The tolerances for the set screw hole (black part of the cage) and the set screw threads (silver insert) are very tight?

I'll wait for the washers. Thanks again for the awesome customer service!
