If you don't mind the color, the blue one fits both Sports and Pro. In fact my Sports 3G unit came with instruction addendum for fitting on Pro.

Ya but the color isn't the only difference... The pro head is wider and longer which is why the pro is more stable than the v2/ sport...

Re: 3g question

Hi michael88997

They can be both used on Trex 450 Sport and Trex 450 Pro for no problem.

However, the outlook for 450 PRO(black) fBL is a little different than the 450 sport(blue) one.

Thank you

Align RC - Conquer Your heart

so technically if u get a 3g sport for your pro your downgrading the heli to a fbl v3 instead of pro... I think it's worth waiting and the extra 10 bucks

Hi AlignRC

Hi on the 450 version is the only difference between the sport and pro versions the color or is there still a different blade grips

No the pro head is NOT wider than Sports. It's actually the other way around.

I have both and here is the proof.

V2 head, on the other hand, is much narrower.

Well sorry I was mistaken but the pro is more stable and there are differences between the two fbl heads so I wonder if it makes a difference on the fbl head

The only differences relative to the FBL system are the linkage length. Linkage A (swash to grips) is 55mm on the pro, and 52mm on the Sports. And obviously the servo to swash links will be different as well due to servo layout. The overall head and mixing base retains the same geometry, so you are not really downgrading.

Also the spacing where you clamp down the mixing base is different, 3.7mm on Sports and 5.6mm on Pro. This is due to the main shaft length.

Well sorry I was mistaken but the pro is more stable
The wider head, longer blade grips makes the Sport more stable so theres no way the Pro can be more stable with shorter grips.Thats like saying the 325mm blades make the heli more stable over 335mm blades. The grips on the sport are longer which makes the disk longer which makes it more stable over the pro,ive flown both and its not much but I can tell..

According to the measurements pics above, looks like the grips are the same (about 28mm from bolt center to end of grip), only the Sport's head is wider.

Very nice!

I am not sure if you have done this, but correct that phase (line up linkage to mainshaft) before your go through the setup procedure..
