Doesn't matter which servo connector you replace, both are wired to the same terminals on the battery.

Just remember to cut and solder ONE wire at a time. Female Deans goes on the Battery.

Charging can go through either the servo or the deans connector. Pick one.
Or the balance plug - depends on the charger.

thanks i did just has you said, now remenber this is a new battery, when i hooked it up to my charger, cell 1 is reading 420, but cell 2 is reading 399, i tried balanced charging it but after an hour, cell one flickered 421,cell 2 was at 401, i hurried and just shut it down,

what do you think is wrong,i never hooked this battery up so its never been dischared at all, just got it the other day from heliproz.the battery never got even warm def not hot when charging, should i drain it then balance charge it again to se if they balance together

Just throwing this out there:

I have one of those little cheapy voltage readout thingies that hook up to the battery's balance tap. You know the ones that you get from hobby shops.

That thing is junk. It always shows the cells are out of balance, and they're not. If I just take a multimeter to each wire individually of the balance tap, everything shows just fine. Does this with every battery I own.

So if you're using a similar device, try it on some of your other batteries to see if it comes out bad. If so I'd say your measuring device is suspect. I know mine is.

Just a thought.

If it can't hover, it ain't worth flying.

hey
i do have one of those little devices but it reads exactly what my charger reads, do you think it has a bad cell from factory,i havent run it down then charged it yet, so maybe when i do then it will balance right, but the charger stops when the battery is full, it was going to keep charging ,even no 1 cell flickered 421 and the other cell was at 401,so i just unplugged it,do you think it would have stopped charging the first cell{the one at 420} and kept charging the other cell,i just seen it flicker 421 and unplugged it. any advice would be great

regardless of what you do with this particular battery, if it has 2 sets if RX connectors, I would solder both together at the Deans.
You want to maximize the current handling of the battery, and you need both sets of leads to do that. Pull out both negatives from the servo connectors, strip the wires and tin together. Put the heat shrink down the wire then solder that to deans, and do the shrink.
Then repeat for positive.
