Does anyone here do this and if so what's their favoured recording gear ?
Well actually, the wildlife bit is not entirely true but it is a better understood term. My wife and her collegues are trying to find a decent way of recording meditation sessions and suchlike. A long while ago I bought a Zoom H4 which works supprisingly well for the money. Low noise etc etc. However, some of her friends have been asking for a way of recording sessions using inexpensive gear. This is challenging for me given I design audio gear costing 10s of thousands so this is a market I am esentially unfamilliar with. As an experiment, I bought a Zoom H2 which functioned well although a little more noisy than the H4 or Olympus LS10 but given the price, it is unbeatable as far as I can ascertain.
Can anyone qualitatively proffer an alternative or a preferance?
