I need to do a little repair job on a fiberglass fuse and need to know where to puchase the fine cloth like is used on FG fuses .

If you're not living on the edge you're just taking up space !

Any decent local hobby shop should carry fiberglass cloth, otherwise check here

I would go with the 2oz per square yard as a minimum.

Krash,

Most of the time the cloth is not as fine as you might think.. 6oz per sq is typical.

No wrong way to do it but thinner means many many more layers.

Thanks for the leads guys . I have some repair to do on a chinook I bought and the heavy cloth will create problems if I use it because there was some damage around the nose of the fuse and to keep the windows mounted properly I need to use the thin cloth .

Anything below .75 per is used for finish work..

sounds like baced on the area, 2oz per is going to work good.

I think Pistol nailed it!
