I have'nt done the DIR set-up yet, I did everything staright off the Rx before installing the G3 electronics. Hopefully all I will need to do is re-check everything while in DIR mode and it will be correct. At least thats what I'm hoping for.
Head button is on and all I need now is to bolt on the blades and add a little sunshine and I'll be all set.

here's a kink.

i'm still having terrible oscillations through flips (not so much through rolls) on my 250. the kink is i'm using the microheli head. the mixing base is part of the head. no phasing to adjust. it's dead on.

so, not discounting anything that's been said thus far. but, i think if you do have some oscillations there are still a few other wrenches in the works aside from phasing. don't knock yourself out focusing on the phasing.

if it ain't broke, break it.

Check the sensor mounting tape. I didn't have issues with larger birds, but my 450 needed two tapes to fix the head bobbing. Also don't let the sensor touch anything around it (like wires), probably harder to do on a 250. The sensor is VERY sensitive.

VERY difficult on such a small heli like the 250. i already have the gyro tray in the lower position, and the sensor is hanging off by 1/8". and, that's with one tape. another tape and it will hit the frame. i may have to toy with the tray in the upper position and the sensor hanging upside down. time to go buy some more tapes.

also, i read in another thread about the sensor not sitting level causing issue...pretty obvious in hindsight. but, i never checked. the sheer weight of the sensor and the cable pulling down on the rear has mine at a severe angle, i just noticed. i am 100% positive THIS is affecting flight. how much will remain to be seen until i can do some more tinkering. i just noticed the off-level this evening :/

if it ain't broke, break it.
