Hi

I thought that I was having a problem with my computer system come to find that all is well, But since I downloaded the new updates from phoenix earlier this week I now find that the sim's frame rate has droped conciderably when I get on line, when I'm offline everything works great! I had all my setting to high, I now have them all set to low with voice chat turned off and still having a problem, spoke to a few friends that I know and they're also having the same problem since the update, wondering is there a fix for this?

My laptop is having the same issue online, I think they have messed up the network play, which is a shame as that's pretty much all I do in the sim. Who wants to fly alone when you can fly with others? Not me .

I overclocked my laptops graphics card (temperature is still fine) and that has helped a load, but still not as good as it used to be. This does take some technical know-how though and not the best thing to do...

Same here! I get bored very fast when I fly by myself rather than on line, at least I can comunicate with others and spectate which I think is a very cool tool because I can pull up someone's radio and see how they are doing the manuevers I'm interested in.

Cool, I didn't know you could do that. I'll have to give it a try latter.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

Yes it is! All you have to do is go to view and click on controller and it will apear on your screen and you can increase the size of it to get a better view of the manuevers.

I'm really beginning to be disappionted with the fps since the update! before the update I was running at 60 fps now it's at 31 fps and drops to 17fps when I crash it drops to 2-3 fps, I desided to see if my reflex was having any issues and none there it is running at 60-105 fps and runs smoother, I've turned everything down to low in phoenix and still no help, it's definitely starting to bug me! don't know how long I'll stick with this they way it's going, shame cause I really started to spend some time needed on the sim.

Hey Saul, I don't know if you know a lot about computers already or not but I would like to help you keep your system up to date. Could you P.M me with your PC specs?

If you don't know your PC specs then you can use a program to help.

To do this you need to run the "dxdiag" command in Windows. Press the windows key and the R button on your keyboard and a run box should appear, in that type "dxdiag" without the quotes and press enter.

When the new window appears press the "Save All Information..." button and upload the DxDiag.txt file to these forums.

Sorry if you already know all this.

I'm also having problems since going to version u. The program will minimize itself and return to the desktop at any given moment. I have a new computer with dual core pentium and a good graphics card overdriven and the temp is very low. I cannot figure out what is going on. I tried turning it down to high graphics but still having the problem. Any ideas?
