the original swift is a great heli, bulletproof and flies great. This is an improved version, which is only better. We simply fixed the few gripes about the heli.

I really like my Swifts. But I would like a better looking canopy, the batteries to be up under the canopy instead of below between the landing gear struts for a higher C/G, and a more heavy duty landing gear. I also like to see the driven tail. All are provided on the new NX.

So I feel all that make it well worth the hype.

This Swift NX seems to have made a great heli into an even greater one.

What Swift do you have?

Yea
This heli has a constaint tail drive
No spool up dance landing gear
way way improved CG with the battey location.
Integral 3 bearing blocks not bolt on
new tail box
3 even geometry servo to swash controlls instead of 2 bellcranks and one direct servo to swash link in the old one. so no need to mix out interaction.

So there is a lot functional to be hyped about

All those ad up to this is a rocking little heli. I loved the swift16 but this incorporates all the items we have been asking for. Century delivered....

Also the canopy just pops on like a glove the old swift was a little tricky to mount (especially the carbon) am I right

Battery is under the canopy now nice and clean looking

Geee I guess I am still hyped and have been flying this all last summer....

Funny, I was going to say "I know of at least one person who gave up on waiting and bought something else" but you beat me to it.

Seriously, I've been chatting up the new Swift on the podcast, and I know at least two folks (other than myself) who are literally waiting with money in hand to buy one.

Give us some info, Century! Please?

Yea I hear you. Like I said I been flying this pup all summer but have said nothing so as not to cause a stir till I was told too. They gave the word is the only reason I started talking openly about the prototype.

Ok just got off the phone with the head office and the recent container shipment included the raw helicopter kits. They need to be pepared for retail sale and there is no ETA date for that.

Retail items outside century control are what is needed to finalize the kit.

Trust me Century wants these out for sale as much as you guys want them.

For the pic request I will have a box to air thread going as soon as I get a retail kit. Feel free to PM me and I can take pics of the prototype but as it is such I do not want to post a lot of those here as the final product will have some diferences for sure.

What about 620NX? Does such a thing exists? Because I have a 620SE (bought last summer and flying since, no crash yet, great heli!). Because my 620SE already has some of these new featrues :
- LiPo on the top
- Driven tail
- Bellcrancks for each cyclic servo
- Landing gear
- Nice canopy
- ...

Basically, for a 620SE owner, is there a reason to get an SwiftNX ?
