I am looking at a 4035-560 on 10s. This is the set-up in my FBL Ion-X2 and it has gobbs of power for 5.5-6 mins on 5000mah TP Pro packs.

Any ideas on what pinion?

The main or spur gear has 130 (mod 1.0) teeth. You can calculate from there.

ENVY..
I am going to go 12s ...I think 10s would be good...but 12s is so much better..

in either form...I would recommend the Jive 80HV.

the Jive really is the best esc for the 700 sized electrics...unless of course you want to spring for the Jive 120HV

on 12s the 4035 is a BEAST ...or even the xera 4030....I use the Xera 4030 on my logo 700 12s setup and it kicks as$

Well... I already have the 4035, PowerJazz, and two 5s 5000 TP Pro Power packs. I have been flying this set-up on my Ion for a while and it is plenty enough for me. I am sure on an FBL ENV it will be as good if not better.

I have a CC 100HV and a Scorpion 4035-500KV waiting at the ready.

Curtis is currently using the NEU 1915 1.5Y. Dont know if this motor is better than the 4035 I have?

Thanks for the replies, I am going to be using 12s setup with phoenix ice HV 160 for speed control. The 4035-560 was the one I was thinking of getting.

I can for sure say the 4035-560 is the gnarliest 10s I have ever flown. I am sure it will be sick on 12s.

Interesting, a lot of us are running 4035's on 10S with Logo600's (50 sized) birds.. gobs of power -> but i would expect that the same setup (4035/10s) on a 690 blade would be much less performance than what we are running on the 600 sized blades (which is about 5-5.5min of hard 3d)

nobody looking at the 5035?

Hey notice the 560 on 130 maingear is for 10s for 12s you need down to 500 even less then 500kv like 460 and I thinks also need to down size the motor pinion on the rex mod 1 is 115 with 12t on 500kv motor so I'm think the motor pinion need to be 1 toth less also I recomend for 12s use the lower possible kv motor because also low the amp comsuption and run more cool and not mention alan in the rex fry some esc up to the 80cc I don't like at all high amp motors the diference betwen 500 and 560 kv motor is noticable also for the 500 you got few second more on tha air!

I know it was not flown a lot, but CY was flying his on 12s. I now will be flying mine on 12s too. He says 12t or 13t is the way to go. I also have a CC HV160 that I will be using so I don't think amp draw will be an issue.

Do you guys think the ICE 80HV will be overloaded with hard 3D on 12S on the ENV?

Cy is testing both the 80 and the 160 and hes said he had noticed a little better performance with the 160. Currently, he is back to testing the 80 to see what can be done with it.

I am already sitting on an HV160 so that is a moot point for me.
