Just finished setting up the cyclic servos on the new 700 build and at one point I noticed the elevator servo lagging behind the others. Sort of like a slight pause. Now I cannot duplicate the strange behavior

I also notice these things are loud as hell and rough sounding. I have read that this is normal.

In any case, looking for opinions. I am thinking I should change it out despite of not being able to repeat the strange one time occurrence.

Lagging behind is usually an indication the plastic adapter that fits over the pot is broken.

Pull the gears off and look under the large last gear. The plastic adapter usually sits up under that.

Another indication this is broken is if you move the servo by hand (while powered up) and it doesn't resist right away.

Thanks for the advice. Ron's has taken care of it and is sending a replacement. Great customer service.
