I'm running the KBDD paddles on the hole closer to the middle. The roll rate my swift is painfully slow. Almost like watching grass grow!!!

I'm running HS7965s at 2100 HS. Swash mix is 60 all around. If I up the mix it will start to bind. Any ideas?

swift
I ran my swift with a flybar a couple times and with the kbdd's on the front hole and an align 440mm flybar the thing had insanely fast cyclics.

sounds like you need to put a longer flybar on it and move to the front hole,...then if that doesn't work..try increasing the atv.

also.....have you actually checked the cyclic pitch ?

you may need to readjust the servo balls..BTW...if you overdrive the atv's(by going over 100%) that can actually make the cyclics faster off center as well..

I was thinking about swapping out the flybar. The stock fly bar that have off center flat spots, did you do anything for this?

Setup this head is always a pain for me, since the Flybar Control Arms aren't parallel with the swash? Any tips?

flybar
you can use any 3mm flybar...the flat spots aren't needed...the flybar arms should be set flat and level when the swash is level..

Even with the stock flybar and heavy Hawk paddles the swift will roll pretty darn quick if the radio is set up for it. My guess is your cyclic is not maxed out.

The swash mix you are using is going to be particular to your combination of servo's//radio//mixing ratio and radio set-up; it is not possible to say XX.X% swash mix is correct.

But if your are not measuring at least 6* of cyclic-- no matter what you do to the flybar//paddles it is going to roll/flip slow.

How mush cyclic do you measure?
