Guys,
What tool have you found to be best for attaching those plastic canopy mounting bolts on the 500? I have assembled three 500's so far and have to say I've struggled to get these screwed on easily or quickly. I just bought a deep 5mm socket today at it doesn't even slip onto it well without a little force. Any suggestions are appreciated!

What I would idealy like to have is a nut driver like tool that fits onto the mounting bolt so it can then be easily screwed on.

Did you look at the rcbooya mounts...they are just great. I have them since IRCHA and really like them.

i just screw them on by hand until its hard then use pliars. I honestly don't remove and reinstall them enough to worry about it.

+1 on the RCBooya set. Best thing I ever put on my 500.

I use my little hex wrench (I don't remember if it's .9mm or 1.3mm or whatever) to install the grub screws into the anti-rotation bracket.

Then I screw the mounts on with my fingers and finish it off with some smooth pliers.

What I did with mine is drill a small 1/16" hole in both the plastic canopy mounts and then used a small pick tool to screw them on by inserting the pick into the hole and spinning.

Lots of good ideas here guys, thanks. I'll try each of them and see which one works best for me.

Once you use the Booya mounts, you won't use anything else.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

I too use the RCBooya mounts and reallly like them.

The stock plastic ones were a bit of a pain to put on, but they didn't give me the security of the aftermarket ones for worry free backwards flight.
