I have had the carby apart look to be ok could the sleave be worn without showing any bad signs causing a lack of compresion not pumping the fuel through never had anything do with os engines really so a bit of a learning process for me

hook a fuel line up to the carb and try blowing some air through the needles. That'll tell you if it's an obstruction in the carb or not. Set the main needle at about 2 turns out to start with and the idle cam adjustment to be parallel with the carb intake.

sounds like a potential tank problem (?). Maybe hook up an external tank just for troubleshooting.

check all the lines to make sure there is no kink are you sure you have your fuel lines in the correct location?

check the line in the tank for any leaks/cracks or plugged up?

also if you have a fuel filter in line check that out carefully. If it has an air leak it'll cause this. maybe bypass the filter for troubleshooting.

While cranking over the engine put a finger over the exhaust, that'll pressurize the tank and squirt fuel into the carb. quick way to flood things
