has anyone ever had a problem with the power switch on there heli just failing in the middle of flight. I started the day good. I started it up got it into a good hover about 15 feet up and out of nowhere all batt power to the receiver gone. I have no control at all. the bird does a backflip and one heck of a chicken dance on the ground destoying everything. trottle hold or engine kill useless.

watchout for my out of control nitro bird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Switches fail often, at least several times a year at our club. A flyer at our club gave me a switch I just installed in my last build. I dont know the brand as it was out of the package. If it fails, it fails in the on position. I am sure some one here can tell us who made it.

Not on a Raptor, but saw a switch issue on a Nexus 30. The swicth hadn't engaged the 'on' position fully and the vibration caused it to move to the 'Off' position.

Fortunately the heli was on the ground and hadn't reached take off speed.

I'm leaning more toward going without a switch at all. Direct power to the RX and use a plug in the middle to disconnect the power. I've done this on my 700
