If you only have to bend over once to pick it up it's a good landing.

B. Follow Rapteman's mechanical gain : " Move yer Ball' in "

If you dont like it just add a ball and flip the wheel.
We wrestled that snake on another bird for over a year, till it dawned on him and he sold it to me with a 2X4 to the head.

C. If it's sounds or go's doggey lean at 1300 - on a 26 your-
Pitch Curve to Throttle curves are a mess. Poor thing is stoved up

Set you 0 pitch at just under 60% throttle opening - on the butter fly and better find the old post I believed called "Malorie's mechanical throttle expo" Do the mechanical linkage as it's instructed in the post.

Sneek into the pitch curve if your O at 60 it's going to get busy Get a Foo Shield

After all these little tid -bit's then it's on to learning gasser pitch curves and their relationship to the throttle curve -nothing like a Nitro. That will be another topic Known as the flat plateau curve.

I have less than 1 gallon through the heli using the ratio that was recommended via the BH Hanson motor manual that came with the heli. It said to use non synthetic quality motor oil to break in for the first gallon or so. I have not been able to complete a gallon yet because of this issue.
WHOA HORSE! All bets are off until you have the first break-in gallon through the engine plus a couple more with a good quality synthetic oil.

If you are breaking the engine in correctly, then you should have it set pretty rich, causing 4-cycling that will make the tail bounce back and forth quite a bit, all normal. The fact that you are trying to tune the tail wag out right now with the needles is putting your brand new engine at great risk.

All of the suggestions posted to this point are excellent troubleshooting techniques, but it is absolutely critical to get your engine through a complete break-in before attempting to resolve other issues that may be related to engine vibrations.

Try concentrating on getting a few gallons through the engine, then start working on the tail wag. As the engine burns more fuel, it will typically run smoother and smoother, which should help with taming down the wag. Good luck and don't give up - you'll get it solved, it just takes a little patience.

ok i see your problem come from vibration why ? because your engine not broken in yet so you have to complete 2 gallon and tail wag will go out automatically as I faced same problem in past don't worry .

but if you have a video it will be nice

Wow..
A bid radical don't you think? because of a tail wag getting out of the hobby..? but then maybe that's better, it takes a lot of time and patience to enjoy RC helicopters.

I have decided its time to sale my helis.
Really!

I don't mean to throw salt into the wound but telling of your problem and then deciding to sell is great way to take a huge beating.

I don't know where you got the idea of running at 1300 when 1500 will only turn the engine at 12.5K on a high performance engine. Regardless of what you do with the links your tail is not going to have enough authority running 1300 on the mains. The gyro can't add thrust to the tail. A higher headspeed will reduce the resultant torque that the tail has to overcome.

I am not saying you shouldn't sell because you clearly lack the attention and determination to succeed with a gasser. You should have individually listed each heli in the classifieds as opposed to broadcasting the whole lot here in the gasser forum.

Actually not the tail wag issue that getting me out of this. I got into helis less than a year ago and took a 6 month break due to home remodeling project. Then tried getting back 2 weeks ago and it just wasn't, there anymore. I think I got a little crazy when I got into this almost a year ago and now realized I will stick to RC cars. I was actually wanting to fix the tail wag issue to make sure the heli is ok before selling it.

But now dont have the patience to go through everything. Hopefully a new owner will have the patience and know how to fix it easily. I apologize for offending you guys by blasting the whole list for sale on this forum.

Don't sweat it Tuclai, not everyone gets offended. Sorry to hear you're getting out of helis, but I can completely understand. You have to go where your passion is. Good luck with your endeavors.
