Looks like TT have really stepped up their game.
Always had a soft spot for the Raptor50 I learnt on and regret selling it.

I may well have to try one of these.

Just throwing this out there! How do you know TT doesn't have a mccpm version of X50 in the wait. I think you guys are jumping the gun to be honest. I also think your not giving it a chance. Even with all your criticism and negative comments I truly believe your going to be one of the first to buy one.

Just keep this in mind guys!! TT has been around for a long time and is still here strong. Their arm is very long which means a long sleeve. You never know whats up it!!

funny how for the last 3 to 4 years all i hear at FF is TT is doomed align is king now, so we sit back and they shove all this stuff out.

Now we have been listening to all the TT fans out there, i have been forwarding many pms and post to Taiwan showing them how all the TT pilots in the WORLD not just here the WORLD want us to make a carbon frame T tube and CCPM heli, BAM its hear and i have to watch a few people just rip it up.

Please for gods sake if ccpm isn't for you then buy the Titan SE its a beast and has a great track record, if you want CCPM and bling to boot then buy the x50 now you have a choice if thats not good enough i really dont know what to tell you.

A Choice
Thunder Tiger has given consumers two great helicopters to choose from. Pick the one that's right for you and go fly the hell out of it. Oh, and uh, stop complaining because it didn't match up with what you imagined it would be. They didn't design it for you, they designed it for us. For the majority of us, the Titan SE and the X50 are all we hoped TT would come up with. You are not going to find many pilots who can outfly the new Titan SE; or the yet to arrive X50. For most of us, these two TT helicopters are more than we'll ever need. If you can outfly them and think you need better, then go buy another brand that you think measures up to your abilities. I, for one, am not leaving the Thunder Tiger camp anytime soon.

Please dont take my input as criticism or as negative.I am in no way criticising the x50 as their is nothing to criticize. As far as Eccpm helis go,It would be very hard to beat. And will be my nex t50 I think it is awesome how TT have LISTENED and come up with what we were asking for in the x50. Im more stating that it is really good to see that they are supporting the mccpm machine as well.As TT DO LISTEN i was purely making a noise about what i as a consumer would like to see in a mccpm heli . And what id like to see in a mccpm heli is only one opinion.Others may have even better ideas.Either way, it is forums like this that a company would get the feel for what people want, which is a great thing for all. To me TT are the best value for quality and that is why there products stand the test of time.

One final question i have is.
Iff i have a mccpm titan and keep the swash plate. Will the x50 head work on the titan from the washout base up?

Well like it or not the X50 is evidently on it's way.

This is not what the guys that want MCCPM want to hear.
It seems to me this is what you should have been telling those ECCPM guys, not the guys that wanted TTs MCCPM and came to TT to get it and that is the reason we are still here.
The ones that wanted ECCPM for whatever reason started out or have already went to other manufactures producing those kinds of helis, and the ones that were looking for MCCPM helis are hear at TT getting what we want which is NOT eccpm.

I mean you don't go to a place that sells go carts expecting to get a car now do you! You also don't say look they offer cars here also so I think I will get one of those instead of what I came here for.

Jeez why is it so hard to understand TT doesn't or didn't produce a ECCPM nitro so the people that bought the MCCPM from TT weren't expecting to come to TT and get a ECCPM heli they went somewhere that sells that and it wasn't TT at the time.

TT might corner a small share of the market selling one of many many many versions of ECCPM heli,But the majority of us are here for what TT was selling and it was not ECCPM helis

I wonder if TT thought, Well we might just bring some people that think ECCPM is better to us or back to us with this new carbon fiber framed 50 with our legendary MCCPM, the new mixing that allows 15 degrees pitch and 10 degrees cyclic,reinforced drive train, longer boom ECT,ECT,ECT and we will offer it with there choice of standard belt drive or torque tube tail. We will also offer our standard fly bar configuration and a under-slung flybar
configuration?

Instead your telling me, Well most of the people that came to TT that want the MCCPM heli we produce want a ECCPM heli.

Well I very respectfully disagree.

Granted I don't sell helis for a living,but I have for 30 years trimmed trees for a living and owned my own tree service for 18 years, so I have some experience in selling what i do.I never once said hey maybe I will offer to trim there flowers when they call for tree trimming. So when I decided to get into helis, I came to TT for a reason.It was for what TT was offering. The X50 was not the kind of heli I was after,hence my comming to Thunder Tiger.
Now we have been listening to all the TT fans out there, i have been forwarding many pms and post to Taiwan showing them how all the TT pilots in the WORLD not just here the WORLD want us to make a carbon frame T tube and CCPM heli, BAM its hear and i have to watch a few people just rip it up.
I have not said one time The X50 is a POS because?
I complemented its design,but lets face it it ain't no one of it's kind like it could have been with the MCCPM design.
Like I said before there is nothing we are going to do about it now but to voice an opinion as to what others that came to a manufacturer of MCCPM helis really would like to have.
So now that you at TT have made the ECCPM boys wherever they are happy, With the X50. Please start to design the MCCPM helis you were producing, after all that is the reason some of us are here in the first place.

Maybe this and other post will get forwarded now and TT will get back to producing there Legendary MCCPM helicopter. I think that's why most of us came to Thunder Tiger in the first place.

Sorry this is such a long post but it had to be said all at once cause I'm done.
You Eccpm boys can get back to your oohs and aughs now I've said all I'm going to about this.
Not disputing the X50 is a Nice heli for a ECCPM

Do you have anything else to say tarzan??? Just let it go man. Let everyone else be happy with the heli and for god sakes let it come out before you knock it! We get that you didnt want eccpm. We get it. You do not want eccpm. We understand you dont want eccpm. We feel for you that you dont want eccpm. Get a Titan SE!!!!

taran_eb i just dont get you if the x50 isn't to your liking cool but you are all over the place, if you dont like it dont buy it, its that simple. You are missing the bigger picture here and you will never get it. TT helis are more then just the new kid on the block we started the revolution more then 10yrs ago with the raptor 30v1 we went thought the growing pains, The quality of our product is why TT pilots are so loyal and we listened, its not about MCCPM or CCPM its about choices, now they can have there cake and eat it too its that simple.

I was mainly moaning about the 4 common areas of failure/weakness. ie, use of M2 screws on head, tail grips without thrust bearings, the 6mm flybar and last but not least, the dreaded auto hub. However, the rest of it looks very good

If you want eCCPM, you have a choice of a conversion of which there are a couple, XeroG or another make I can't remember the name of.
