That's a raptor 90 with the QuickUK Vmax frame upgrade. It's a raptor 90 with e-ccpm control. They were popular back then.

It is the R90 XTR it shares some parts with the Vmax but it is not the Vmax

There are more photos of it in my gallery.

I am going flybarless this year (SK-720). I sure wish they would have a version with a flybarless head like Align.

They will come out with a flybarless head in about 10 years, about the same time it took them to come around to ccpm, lol.

Auto Hub
Arguing how good the current auto hub is when they ask for opinion on weak points appears as if the approach is for us to only tell them what they want to hear and has been upgraded on the X50. I personally had a crash from the auto hub not reengaging when it released during going back to normal flight mode. Only damaged the gear though. Mine always locks up and when I clean it as directed and lube with their grease and causes these problems it is point needing redesign.

Clean it out with carb cleaner and then lube with ATF fluid or afterrun engine oil. Works great.

The old V1 raptor has some problems but the new ones are excellent.

If you clean and lube when new it will last 500 flights or more. I have one that has over 1000 flights.

Lots of factors here ...

How did you clean it.
How much grease did you apply.

I tried soaking in ATF and used other lubricants years ago, but the most effective long lasting results is using the PV0270 Grease or differential grease.

Using a brake spray cleaner and or carb cleaner with the extended nozzle will flush out any foreign particle within the outer / inner working surfaces of the bearings and housing. Blowing compressed air will also aid in the cleaning process. If you apply too much grease the bearings will (stick) not float or return to their normal position.

A liquid lubricant will only expel it's self out of the bearing housing due to centrifugal forces.

As other have mention, they have numerous flights without any issues.

I do not have faith in this part and that is an issue while flying. It is the most common problem on my 50 no matter how well I maintain it. This is a weak point that needs looked at. A larger id would reduce the torque during impact loading which is probably needed.

It has been 1 and a half years since I last lubed my autohub. I always end my every single flight with autorotations and sometimes do severals one other one.

I have seen many rex and raptor(maybe + 80 helis so far) auto hubs fail (lock). When I speak with the owners its always them not lubing their auto hubs(or not lubing with the correct grease). Once they do that parts do not fail.

In this respect I did not see this part to fail prematurely. I do not have experience with the raptor 90 SE autohub btw, only raptor 90 3Ds.

Sorry for the off topic, but..FWIW

I have always cleaned the factory lube out of my Titan's autohub and lubricate with a few drops of Triflow oil. Then it will get a few drops maybe every couple of months thereafter. 46 gallons later and no lockup issues. Doesn't seem to be a problem for me. Your mileage may vary.
