watching rstacy vid back abit there seems to be tail bobble when flying backward flight at high speed if you watch closely. Can you confirm.
Let me know exactly which video that you are referring to. If it is the one labeled "Very First Flight" then you are probably correct. As I said in the post, we had not yet adjusted the gain. It was the very first flight.
Another thing that I would like cofirmed if you dont mind rstacy is that it sounds like you are switching something with transmitter as you go from 3D to fast forward and backward flight. Is this to compensate for something between 3d and fast forward/ backwards flight? Another words switching modes as you would in mikados system
No. Nothing going on there.

This reminds me when I was a kid, watching magician on TV, I always try to find any hints that will reveal the magic's secret, so I can call it BS.

Come on, there are no magic at work in those videos. And no hidden strings tied to the helicopter. It's just FBL system at work. Stop being so critical and enjoy the hobby.

I bought the 600 N the day it was released... even before it was available in the US. I still have that heli. Align does make decent stuff. I just don't think they are serious when it comes to electronics. I personally don't like cheap electronics. Solder joinrts, crimp joints... this is basic electronics. Get a QC dept for gods sake.

Align is the Toyota of helis LOL

I drive a Dodge... yo know I'm smart.

That reminds me of a sticker i saw on the way to work one morning,
there was a lifted dodge pickup on the side of the road with the hood up and a tow truck backing up to it....

I swear this is a true story......

the guy had a sticker that said..."Dodge makes it....Cummins shakes it..

as I drove by i said to the guy hey.. dodge makes it...cummins shakes it...and the Tow truck takes it... the guy looked at me and smiled and said what an azz-hole and laughed...

These posts always come down to two sides, I guess we'll all have to agree to disagree. As for the Align nay sayers, I repeat, what are you basing your statements on? You say "aligns poor reputation for electronics" but what are you basing this on? I have bought and sold thousands and thousands of dollars in heli equipment. I always like to try new equipment before I form an opinion on it. I have owned three Align helicopters and they have all been virtually maintenance free. I have owned countless motors, ESCs, gyros and servos from every manufacturer and usually my Align gear is one of the most reliable brands. I believe a lot of people who like to put down Align are probably not owners of Align products, but are people who read a few negative OPINIONS on here and automatically assume it must be true. To those people, I say, why don't you try it before you knock it. Align has paved the way for many many people to be a part of this hobby on a modest income. There is no doubt in my mind that a very high percentage of people who have entered this hobby in the last few years probably started with an Align helicopter or owned one since. And I love when people assume that because something cost twice as much as the competitor, then it must be better. I think a true test of a brand is to see how long it lasts. If Mikado is still making V-Bars in a couple of years then it will have proven itself. And the same goes for Align as well

Just like I said a few posts back, most of these naysayers are hanging around these Align threads because they don't want to see anything outperforms the expensive equipment they have already invested. If I drive a Porsche I certainly don't want to hear about a Nissan GTR kicking its @ss on Nuremberg. But it did, and costs less.

And this is with something Align came up with on their own. Have you guys ever think what if they copied another system? That would certainly be understandable to piss off a lot of people. So we do have to give them credit there.

People don't realize competition is good. And eventually us consumers win.

I owned Align..
My first: 2 in one regulator was bad, one of the capacitor feel off, luckily I was few feet front the ground.
I have a 700 and every time I crashed I have I have to replace all the bearings. I did not have that problem with Miniature, Robbe or Vibe.
My friend had a 600 and it flew very good for few months after that it got play in every moving part.
You get what you paid for..
By the way I own a 911 and you can keep your nissan.
And regarding the Flybarless system (that is the topic). We need to way few months before we start to whine.

Funny..the majority of people in this thread don't own, want or like the Align 3G yet you continuously keep posting nonsense about why it's no good...it can't be good and yada, yada, yada.

The thread should be renamed to..People who have a problem with the Align 3G but Don't Own It.

Keep carrying on about something that you don't have, want or like is rather pointless.

Some of you should be focusing more on helping people with the systems you DO own rather than bashing people that own or want something else.

Some of the top pilots in the world are currently runing the Align 3G, far more so then are runing any other flybarless system on the market...so I guess former XFC Champs and 3D Masters Winners must see something positive in it.

If you buy a V-bar, you can be assured of success. If you buy the Align unit, you just don't know what you're going to get.

blade, I know you can't wait I know it is in the male genes that we can't wait. We like the girl and we marry right away and later we ask where is the car and house that I use to own.
After this advise you might wait, but I know you will not.

Justin, what are you basing this on? The posts you read here, or your brother's friend's sister's cousin's evil twin? How can you be sure 100% of all V-bar users had success since its release?

I can certainly tell you based on the local hobby shops, that 3G is flying out the door. They probably have sold more 3G in the past 2 weeks than they have V-bar all year. So you hear/read a couple of "problems", and immediately you jump on the reliability wagon. Did you ever think these problems you hear are probably less than 1% of all units sold?

Unless if you can provide some facts to back your claims up, you are just discrediting yourself with speculations...
