I want to get some ideas of how you charge your lipos at the field if you don't want to use your car battery. Is the a way using the 12 Volt battery in you field box with some sort of panel. I have an Aluminun case that I want to put a power suppy and charger and 12 Volt battery all in one case so I don't have to carry so much. Can you show me some different set ups.
Thanks

I would assume that it would depend on the size batteries you are planning to charge.....

Maybe if you give some specs , I'm sure suggestions will follow....

Ausable if you become a member of club CRASH then we have power supplies and electrical outlets in the club house therefore all you have to do is bring whatever charger you buy. It's that easy at our club.

Yes, I will join Club Crash because I have met several guys there and they are a great bunch. This way I will learn faster from people who know what they are doing. This is the way to go.
Thanks for the info.

I seen a power supply with duracell written on it about a size of a small igloo icechest you take a lunch to work in. Nice with other power outlets on it. I really do not know what size battery exactly but a Hyperion duo3 hooked up to it.

Leisure battery in the back of my van, wired in with a split charger to the vehicles alternator. Two 12v outlets and 240v via an inverter, monitored with a large digital display.

This is the generator.

This is the charger.

It don't matter how you get there, if you don't know where your going.
