how are you guys mounting your servos are you using the rubber grommets or going rigid like in the manual?

ive gone rigid like the manuel.otherwise you have to use longer screws as the rubber mounts give the screws a couple mm less to grab hold of.
i havent flown mine yet due to century uk takeing over a week to send me a replacement tale rod ball link as the one with the kit was faulty and wouldnt fit on the ball. (they only have to place it in an envelope and stick a stamp on it . even 2nd class post i should have had it last week ) tempted to send the whole heli back

i mounted mine with grommets and used the screws that came with the servo's(were longer )

Century heli rep. To much power is never enough.

i used futaba servos the screw where the same lenght. what servos did you use?

That is a mistake in the book.. Some electrics run hard mounted...How it got into these plans is beyond me, but don't fret...

Just use the grommets without the g10 cover.. the brass insert has always provided enough holding area to stabilize the grommet.. With this normal setup the screws are the right length...

This was mention in the FYI I'm sure....

I mounted my servos like Billme described just the brass insert in the grommet no cover plate.

Man, that would have been a nice addendum for Century to add. I went and bought longer screws so I could build it the way the manual said. I wondered about th cover plate. Guess I should have posted something here. That'll teach me.

Now I can redo this before it shakes the teeth out of my servos.

I can crash anything..
