Hi to all.
My question is....
Has anybody had to shim the engine to properly align the clutch assembly?
I'm installing a YS 91st and the engine had to be shimmed approximately 1mm forward to properly align the clutch assembly. I tried without the shims and improper alignment was easily noticeable, also the main gear had a severe bind when being spun by hand.

I have put washers between the engine and engine mount to correct the clutch alignment on my TZ90.

Thanks, pnoy helista.
I did the same with a 1mm washer. I asked a friend that modifies and races nitro truggies. He said to use a full length shim to reduce the risk of breaking the crankcase motor mount from vibrations. I bought a piece of K&S flat metal from my LHS to make a full length motormount shim.

Thanks for the tip heli-cuzz. I'll do the full length shim mod when I have time to do it.
