Any one have experience with this esc. I got one for christmas and have it programmed (bought the interface and downloaded program) and everything is set but I did not see anywhere in the programming about setting the throttle end points. ANd when I plug it in (I have the motor pinion off) it wont arm? it armed one time when I flipped the throttle hold switch but then did not do it again after that. I think it is not seeing the endpoints?

Did he crash? Dang, I missed it!

look here and watch the video. the cc85hv setup is pretty much the same. it will show you how to set up the endpoints for high and low stick.

http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=36194

heres the jist of it

Go to your endpoints and lower your throttle endpoints to +/-50.
Move your throttle to high and plug in your lipo, the ESC will give a beep to signal the number of cells detected. Now slowly increase your positive throttle endpoint until the ESC gives some arming beeps- then give in a couple of clicks extra.
Unplug the lipo, move your throttle stick to low, plug back in your lipo and repeat for your low throttle endpoint..

my futaba 8fg ended up being full throttle endpoint 94, low stick endpoint was 132

you have to bring the throttle down to 0% before it can arm

Also make sure your throttle direction is reversed in your radio programming.

Castle Tech support suggested that if you are using governor mode your throttle atv should be set at the max.. JR X9303 = 150% both directions. Also, You must provide a zero postion signal to the esc for it to arm so if the lower travel limit doesn't tell the esc it's zero.. the unit will not power the motor only the servos/receiver.

Thanks guys
I did watch that Finless video before posting the question but his "program" looked different than mine. I will try this though. Thanks.

Ya the Finless video is for older esc's and software but the ideas generally work. The pull down menus are different, some items are located in different locations but the general ideas are very useful. Castle tech support people that answer your web emails are great people and very knowledgeable on their products. They often answer support questions in the evenings and on weekends.
