Hey is a torque tube considered the boom and the shaft inside or is the TT just the shaft inside? so I guess I can any boom with the TT.. help?? Thanks Pals

The torque tube is only the shaft inside the tail boom.

You can use any 450 boom with the torque tube inside, but the CF boom requires you to trim the rubber a little bit that holds the TT bearing.

Yes, you could buy any correct length boom (the outside) and install a torque tube drive inside of it.
