Swash leveler
I just wonder, Have you flown before and after the swash leveler ?
Can you see or feel a difference ? Since the heli demonstrates translating tendancy is there any gain ?
In all of my helis a properly trimmed ship will have the swash slightly tilted to one side.Looking forward to your answer.

That "leveler" is also a spacer on a Raptor 50. The swash sits on top of it and it's the center of it's vertical travel. I put the swash on top of it and "zero" and "square up" the linkages from there. I don't know if it works the same on a Trex.

Ask your doctor if your heart is healthy enough for Radio Control Helicoptering.

I'm still learning as I go but for me with my raptors it helps to get close its a good starting point it don't take much to get them dialed in

Swash leveler
I do now understand that the "leveler" is also used to center the swash/mixer/blade holders but my original question was specificly directed at swash leveling. You can level a swash all you want but the moment you lift off translating tendancy takes over except on multi rotor aircraft. The sideways force of the tail rotor makes the heli lean to one side. Therefore the swash must be tipped opposite to compensate.
Is the roll servo then corrected with trim ? Or is the swash tipped and the trim set to zero.

the leveler set up tool makes the swash 100% level from there you need to trim the bird (tilt the swash to correct the tail rotor) but it help make sure every thing is set up square once in a hover it does not take much to to dial it in, it make things simple for me any way, I'm sure a advanced pilot/builder might not need this but I am not that advanced at this point in the hobby

I much prefer the kind that can be used to set top and low end pitch.
Like this:

Using this method:

The difference I feel is that once I do this procedure, I have VERY little flight trimming to do. If I have more than 2 clicks, I'll then adjust endpoints on the servos of my ccpm setup to adjust, then fly again till I have no trim needed. Then do it inverted in a hover. If I set it up good mechanically, I usually don't need to do much if anything.
You of course need a really good CG too.
