Hi all,

Can someone offer any advice please?

I was flying my Trex 450 and was very happy with it, so decided to put it into a scale AS350 body.
Now it weighs more and it's a pig to fly.
I am gone to 100% flat throttle curve in idle up so I can fly it.
Used to use 75-80 max.
Getting around 5 mins of gentle scale flying now.
It's great upwind but on any downwind leg, it sinks fast and I have to be very careful with throttle management

Here is my set up

Motor / 3200KV
Main gear 150T
Pinion 10T
Battery - 2200Mah Lipo 20C
ESC - CC Phoenix-35

What can I do to improve the heli?
I have read some people go to 4S Lipo but I'm not sure that I want to go there as I have 10 3s 2200 packs that I want to use for this heli.

Would a higheer Kv motor say 4000kv do the trick or should I jump to say a 15T pinion......, would this overload the esc?

I'd say 3-bladed head on your AS350 and 10t pinion will do okay. For flybarred head you need at least 12t with 3200kv motor.
