I had one MANY years ago (late 70's) and sold it long ago as well.

It should not be to big a deal to make it electric with the motors and batteries we have today. You would need to make a motor mount, pick the right motor, pulley (for motor) and fit it all together.

Really not that big a deal IMO.

I read somewhere that American RC who now sells the Kavan range of helis is working on an electric conversion so you might want to check out their website
