No "chinese weights" whatever those are, are not necessary. Ill try again, Move the ball on your tail servo horn in one hole and increase the travel on your gyro to achieve the correct throws again. I helped a local guy with it who had a tail wag since he built the kit on his titan which was at least 2 years old I believe. TOOO much mechanical gain...just try it

Thats the thing, the travel is literally almost maxed a hair away from being the highest travel limit. I am beginning to think it is the super flexy tail blades! I may pick up a new set tomorrow if I can!

Evidently you were out of ides that's the reason for your post.
Try doing what some have suggested on your post move the Ball.
It is very frustrating to have someone ask for help and then try to explain why they don't think that idea will work without even trying it

Fly it ! Crash it ! Rebuild it ! Repeat as needed !! Everett

Ok, Moved the ball in last night, I couldn't get it to reach the limits but tried it anyway. It gave the same exact response, a little more soft actually. I think its the tail blades at this point!

i didnt read this thread, just the last few post`s.
if this is a mems sensored gyro, you cant have any slop n the tail anywhere.
if the pitch slider is sloppy you`ll get a bad wag, if the tail grip`s are sloppy you`ll get a bad wag, if the tail blade`s are soft plastic you`ll get a bad wag.
if you`r tail servo is weak on torque you`ll get a bad wag. if you have checked all this and it`s all good, then it`s the gyro picking up a vibration.
you`r tail servo can be the fastest on the market, but if it only has say 20 oz`s of torque it`ll be to weak.

ok i just looked back, if it`s the futaba gy401, you should`nt have to worry about soft blade`s or slop in the tail. the gy401 usually will work on anything, unless it`s bad.
just thought of something, you may look and see what servo`s are compatable with the gy401. i`ve heard there are a few NEW servo`s that dont play right with the gy401.

did you buy this gyro used? if so this is why it was sold.

(0) on the delay and limit pot`s are on the left side, so you turn the delay all the way to the left.

crash`s come easy patience`s doesnt

I really doubt thats the problem, Im kinda on his side about the tail blades now. Servo could be a problem as well like you said

I actually bought it new and it has worked great, along with the servo! I really think its the tail blades they can flex really easily in my hand and I am gonna pick up a new set when I get my 9 tooth pinion!
