Ok you want honest, well here is honest,,,,

I thought I would never buy a 50 size heli again, once I flew 90's I was hooked, good friend of mine said if I wanted a cheaper priced heli to learn on and not worry about crashing the Outrage was it.

So I bought it and had it together ready to fly in 30 hours, just over 2 gal of fuel threw her and with one set of blades changes from 620 to 600 and stubz on flybar you cant even get the grin off my face, all pushed by the YS56/ Outrage56 pipe and Ar7100r and align 620 servo's, and gy520.

Very light weight, all cnc, parts upgraded in new kits already, great customer support, cheap cost on parts.

As for the heli itself Im proud to own one and love it a lot, thought I would get bored of it but Im not, and being as quick as it is Im getting my learning curve down quick.

If you know how to build a heli the right way then you in no way will be disappointed in the Outrage Velocity.

Now I am going to be buying a new to the market AHF-RC Aeolus 50, as this heli is even cheaper in cost and is getting an overhaul to cnc called the SE model that so far to me is up their with the Outrage but we will see how it measures up to all I have experienced with the Outrage.

Even in the wind the outrage is nice, heavy wind like any 50 is a little more of a challenge but she fly's as good as any other of my heli's but much faster and quicker but again that depends on how well of a builder you are.

This hobby sucks, when your not flying.

I couldn’t agree more. I have the 600nsp and thought it flew ace and again very hard to get the grin off my face but then got the velo50. At least with the 600 the smile did eventually go on its own..

The only problem with the velo50 is your smile doesn’t. Maybe the outrage gang could include a smile remover in the next kits. They could call it the Velocity50SR.

This is my honest opinion. I’m no expert, I don’t work for outrage, I’m not sponsored by them and don’t receive any freebies (would be nice though). Im just a regular heli pilot at a regular club, trying very hard to fly well.

You wont regret it…..

Thanks for the kind words. I must say that I personally have over 1000 flights on Velocity 50's . I have just 1 week ago given away my prototype Velocity 50.

This heli still flew very well with hardly any slop .

I have never enjoyed 50 size helis like I do this one, this heli feels like a 90 in flight.

I agree with all the above. Now with the 140 ccpm conversion here it will fly more lock on. I have seen HC put his thru the ringer and trust me if he can't blow it to peices then no one will. lol

I have to say even with mine not totally set up it still flys as good as my 90 size bird.

The velocity is pound for pound the best 50 on the market period!

With the 140 ccpm conversion set it feels as locked on as a flybarless machine. I have only flew one once with it but I can tell a big difference in it. It is well worth the $16 for it. It is hard to believe it is so cheap for what you get and makes such a difference. Best buck I have spent for an upgrade for sure.

i had one of the first velos and had a number of issues with it. the back up from greg in America was nothing short of fantastic.
got the velocity as i was using too much fuel in the trex 700's.....
i now have 2 velocitys, have sold one 700 and the other is sat on a shelf with the radio gear missing.... Think that says it all!

Everyone is spot on. Very nice flying bird. Feels so locked in, but man can it moove. Very nice to build. You wont find any scary looking things in the kit. It just goes together and works. Some great new features but definately not over engineered. They have a great response time to some of the small issues that were around on the first batches. The parts are cheep.

All round, great value. You wont be dissapointed.

Now put these on when you build the heli, after today the first flight on these paddles I had the world turn around in a full 360 making he Outrage a whole new bird.

I cant believe just a small little item like these paddles can put an even bigger smile on my face holly cow what a great set of paddles.

I have been watching the New MA Fury55 build going on last couple days now and looking real close to the pics of the heli and I just have to say some words.

I am happy I bought this Outrage when I did and I do believe its in for a very good run this year battling with the new heli's on the market and Im gonna feel good taking it to the funfly's this year showing it off.

I will admit when MA comes out with the tork tube version upgrade to the Fury 55 I will have a hard time not wanting one but I keep saying to myself how the heli's of today have out done themselves and my hats off to the ones who have kept the hobbyist in mind when it comes to quality that some are putting out.

Amazing how technology has just surpassed in this hobby.

WOW

Honest review. I've owned two Velocity 50's now, both are gone. 50% junk! Poor one-way design(the new one), boom braces breaking, strange vibrations, overall not a quality kit. I've ordered my Fury 55 now.
