Using the gy520 gyro how many have put the ball on the servo wheel at 13.5 (suggested location on instructions on the Gy520) instead of MA's 19.5 that I used to fly at using the Gy401??

Must I or does it matter??

Oh and Im flying the MA Extreme.

If I use the 13.5 as suggested by the GY520 my link hits the plates used to support servo's.

The closest I can get to 13.5 is about 16mm any closer I will hit, plus I wont get as much throw on the rudder if I get any closer.

My guess is that if I go to 3D and Fast setting on the gyro staying at 19.5 instead of 13.5 I will in effect be at a setting closer to the F3C and standard setting due using 19.5 out from center..

Please anyone chime in.

This hobby sucks, when your not flying.

Hi biglahou! If you are using the servo mount in the frames you need to stay with the 19.5 because the throw is reduced at the belcrank. this should be the same as the 13 spacing that is recomended for a strait ( no bellcrank) link setup. Or you can just use a read servo mount and go direct. The servo is where it is to on the extreme to help with balance. Tom
