Just wanting to see if anyone out there is running 620's on 8 volts and how long?

I know alot of people run 610's but I have 620's and want to be sure they have been tested out there. Chime in with what you know and what kinda service life are you getting.

I appericate it. I just went ahead and put my 610's in from my velocity 50 so I would have more torque. This was what most told me to do in PM's but will the 610's on 8 volts be as fast as the 620's on 6 volts?

Both servos (610's/620's) can handle 8V with no issues. The 620 have more speed (4.8V,6V or 8V) but the 610's (4.8V,6V or 8V) have more torque. The 610's and 620's are close in speed but the 610's have more torque which is what you want on cyclics.Your not going to notice .01 sec of speed with the 620's,the 610's are a better choice for cyclic. The more torque with the 610's also help with ware and tear.

Good deal. I have also heard that the 610's are faster at 8 volt than the 620's at 6 volts so it will be a better choice.

The 620's are faster at 8V than the 610's at 6V,you can't compare one at 6V and the other at 8V.Thats like asking if a V8 mustang is faster than a V6 Camaro, you have to compare a V8 Camaro to a V8 Mustang. The person that said the the 610's at 8V are faster than the 620's at 6V have no ideal what there talking about, they are faster but when you compare both equal like you should then there not.

I wasn't comparing the 620's at 8 volts I was saying that the 610's at 8 volt should be faster than the 620's at 6 volts. I have had two 700's set up exactly the same way but the only difference was the servos. The 620 bird seemed a little faster than the 610 bird so I was hoping to still acheive that by putting the 610's on 8 volts.
