best for bucks is outrage x lite or align hyper pipe, best performance go with hatori sb 18, 19 or 20 or get the mp 6 u wont go wrong with any pipe, am using outrage and it perform well, as i ve never tried any other pipe on my 91 engine, but i ve test all the pipe from local flying field and couldent find much different on pipe use, since am bit new to 90 size heli, the 90 sure have lot of power compare to 50 size that tend to bogged if not well on collective management unlike 90

Trex 600,700 AND 450, GY611, GY401, OS5H, OS91HZ, MGP, HS65HB, Scorpion 2221-8,

The GP pipe is the best pipe I have used or flown on a OS or YS 90 size engine. It's a tuned pipe not just a "muffler with benefits" like some other available brands. The GP makes excellent power and sound. Once the engine comes up on the pipe it really starts to sing. I run +/- 12 pitch on my 700 and my align 91HZ and will pull it all day long without as much as a hiccup. Tunning is easy with this pipe. A fairly large tunning band allows for a rich running engine to still produce great power. The one piece design speaks for itself. No messy O rings to deal with. It's built like a tank too.

A little background on the GP brand. GP exhausts are hand made in Germany. The guy that started this company was formerly with Webra for 20 or so years. Webra engines used to be one of the most powerful engines when I got started flying helis. We used tuned pipes with them and had very good success.

Waiting for parts

i like outrage on 50 and 56.. but the 90 version don't have a much power, I have 1st version of outrage 90 pipe for ys, compare to hatori the different is day and nite.
i have not try the new outrage version for 90 yet. i hope its different.

right now the best bang for os/align 90 is muscle pipe 6. it have lot of power plus 50% crash protect also

I have a first gen Outrage 90 on my YS and it's as good as my Hatori SB19FH. Wonder if you got a bad pipe, or a got a diamond in the rough .

I do have the outrage 90 Lite pipe on my OS HZ and it's great too. I think it makes as good if not better power than my Hatori SB20FH on another heli, although the Hatori does sound better of course.

Can't argue with everything else you said, but I can only assume you have never seen other heli pipe in person. I don't think there are any heli pipe out there that is two piece design.

the hatori and funtech pipes are both 2 piece designs.
the 2 pieces are the header and the pipe unlike the GP and MP6 which are all one piece(pipe and header in one)

personally i like the funtech 3D pipe on my HZ's
massive power, easy to tune and engine runs cool.

i have tried hatori SB18,SB20,MP6 and funtech and have found the funtech to give the best power along with easier tuning and it will hold on forever and even if you do drop it off the pipe it comes back on really quickly.
