Zozie,

I think the sun is even further away up there in Canada...maybe 510 miles!

I didn't get very far into the thread but do they talk about the moon too, if the sun is only 500 miles away...how close is the moon???

What's it made out of???

When in doubt...auto out

In Canada there is no sun at all. We're too far north. That is why we live in igloos

My favorite post so far
"If the sun were millions of miles away how could we even see it? It would have to be much larger than the Earth, and a ball of coal that large wouldn't be able to move across the sky as it does. How absurd."
Still laughing over here!!

I couldn't believe what I was reading, I thought at first that it was some kind of a joke, so I kept on reading, then I realized that these people are completely NUTS. I wouldn't want to be driving anywhere near the roads where these people live, I might end up in stake on fire. Unbelievable.

The moon is just a reflector to light the earth when the sun is underneath warming the ground and the tree roots. I think they knew that so it was never discussed.

Yes. If the sun were a nuclear reaction, it would have to be further away. Since it is made from coal, 500 miles is about right.
You've got to be kidding me...

That's got to be a "joke" forum...

Check out this one... OMFG...
