Almost everyone uses hemostats,
I use syringes for putting epoxy and plastic cladding material exactly where I need it, and I use the needle syringe for refilling my ink cartriges on my printer.
The light and needles/syringes I just picked up at a local auction of a closed clinic, it should help with finding those little parts that drop...

Anyone use anything else?

Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

I use the surgical clamps, but added see through heatshrink over the teeth as they otherwise will cut through the fuel tube.

Almost everyone uses hemostats
A few years ago I bought one of every shape of hemostat a local medical supply store had, including one about 20" long in case I ever need to clamp off a fuel line during a Funky Chicken. Used it once on another guy's bird.
I use the surgical clamps, but added see through heatshrink over the teeth as they otherwise will cut through the fuel tube.
I took a smaller one with a 45° jaw and ground off all the teeth with a Dremel, then ground more metal away so it couldn't over-pinch a fuel line and so the inner jaws were rounded -- then wire-wheeled 'em down 'til they were smooth as glass. Works peachy.

There's always medical supply stores near big hospitals. You wouldn't believe how many different strange and useful jaw shapes hemostats can have. They also have BlenDerm tape which has a hundred uses in RC.

And whatever you do, don't fergitcher Fogarty Catheter!

I use micro surgical equipment on my 250 all of the time. There is no other way to hold the small nuts and washers.

I use a long pair of sponge forceps on my airplanes to thread wires through bulkheads. I also use 10ml saline flush syringes with the needle-less tip cut to apply epoxy or JB-Weld.

I use needle holders and mosquito forceps sometimes to pass wires on my helis, but I also find they work well for expanding heat shrink tubing just a little to get over a servo plug.

I once used a long Foley catheter attached to a 25mL syringe to put some gorilla glue inside the tail of an airplane so I wouldn't have to cut the Monokote. It was a new catheter which had fallen on the floor and was no longer sterile. It was NOT a used catheter (gross).

Foley catheter
I googled that -- and now I regret it. What's been seen cannot be unseen.
