It's the same old thing, the job I was meaning to do should have been done sooner... Cut away the canopy where the on off switches live and fit them with "on" in the rear position. Obviously whilst putting the canopy on today I'd caught my radio switch enough to have it teetering between on and off. You've guessed it, with vibration it turned off not on...
Head knackered and blades done... The good thing is, an Align 600 all
metal head fits straight on. I just made up a new mainshaft from silversteel re-positioning the top hole and job's a goodun!
Can't get std parts over here easy, least I can now :-)

Good switch I've used and never had a problem with is the gem rocker switch I got from heliproz. I tried all those "hobby" switches only to have them eventually fail.
These gem switches are actully industrial grade rocker switches that someone got ahold of and made them into hobby receiver switches. Supposedly they are rated at a million cycles. I even saw these same switches at Mouser elcetronics (electronic supplier). You could make your own as I noticed they were only about $2 US. I paid like $19 for one already all made up.
Try it, you'll never look back at a slide switch...

Can I try yours.............No, get your own!

I stopped useing switchs all together a couple years back after a some switch related crashes, my thinking is the less that can go wrong the better.

Century heli rep. To much power is never enough.

Mr Loudly,

Is that a 'Trexikal' you have there or a 'Radirex'
Personally I like the second one!
