the metal fan will push more air> yes,, and yet, the metal fan may need a tiny bit more power to turn, but it will turn the same RPM as the plastic fan if your Curves and/or Speed Control are set well, therefor it will cool better at a given RPM, and with the larger Toki 40 and OS 37 I truly believe with what little extra heat derived form turning the metal fan does not amount to much at all, leaving the metal fan a benefit

to add, you should not run the stock Hawk Head over 1800 because it does not have Thrust Bearings (as wood blades should not be run over 1800 as well), so with that, once your curves and/or Speed Control are set for a 1800 HS the Engine will turn the same speed no mater what fan you are using
