Hi guys,

I can buy an new Futaba MZ14 (35mhz) with a R5014 reciever for a very reasonable price because of the 2.4Ghz boom .
Is it true that the R5014 receiver has a lockout reputation.
I would like to buy the combination, but on the other hand would not like to have problems that i can avoid.

Any advise is welcome.

keep them in the air !!!

The receiver requires appropriate installation in the model. Go here for an installation guide:

If you follow the suggestions, lockouts are uncommon.
