I was looking to buy a .90 for a while and just wondering if this is a good price, your opinions are all welcome. Its the high ratio stratus with OS91 motor with a pump, battery for the electronics, with switch, Brushless servos for cyclics and tail, regular servo for throttle, SCG voltage regulator, ATG governor, carbon Curtis blades, and muscle pipe. He wants $2000. He built the kit, and the heli has never been flown. I believe I want to negotiate a lil, cause I still need a reciever and gyro, which will cost me $200. Sooo, I guess I want to know if $1,800 is a good offer cause I don't really want to spend more than $2000 total. Thanks.

It's not a terrible price, but it really depends on what it's worth to YOU. Price up all of the components and decide if you're getting a deal.If it's all new and pristine, it certainly makes it easier.

I've got a regular Stratus, and love it. You need to see what model of OS 91 he has in there. If it's an SZ, deduct some $$. I've got the SZ in mine, and honestly, it's a severe PITA. That motor is well known for being a vibration machine. As Dr. Ben put it, he, '..wouldn't put an SZ within a country mile of a Stratus..". I agree.

I've put the HZ piston in it and it's better. But not perfect. Either way, you'll really enjoy the Stratus, man.
