Thanks Faye.. Yup.. this is where I get my light setups for my Helis.. http://www.laureanno.com/RC/LED-Flashers.htm

I spoke with Tom, at the above link, last night and he gave me a tip when using LEDs.. He said to lightly sand the LED (makes it look like a frost covering).. This defuses the light so the LED isn't so directional...

Got a little more done tonight. As you can see, I'm working on the pilots instrument console.. Not sure how I'm going to make the top (hood) over the instrument console.. The middle canopy bulkhead goes right in the middle, between the front of the console and the instrument panel..

You can try to use plastic sheet to make the hood and then spray matte black.

or just buy black lexan sheet and use a heat gun to shape it over a wooden form... or vacuum form it to make it even better..

Thanks Faye and Wingtip for the suggestions.. I've already got my sheet of Styrene. Going to use it on the backing for my LED mounting.. Pictures soon.., Instrument panel glare shields, and supports for the seat backs..

Finished making the back lighting mounting panels. Started developing the front seat and the rear (Pilot's station) area..

Everything is fitted and now the detailing work starts.. Lighting is done and test.. Looks very cool..

I have to give kudos also. I currently work for a company that's doing 4 full scale AH-1F's for Thailand and the panels are spot on.

Cobra Collective
Hey guys.. Does anyone have a picture of the Cobra's pilot collective?
I've been looking everywhere and have found nothing. Well... not everywhere or I'd have it..

I'm looking for where the collective arm goes into the side panel..

Thanks

Just finish my front (Co-Pilot) seat.. working my way back..

I think I'll finish the pilot's seat before I do the control sticks and final placement of the side panels..
