I have a very small amount of nose weight on my 700 for normal to slightly forward CG. With the FBL system and I'm using the Align do I want to remove that weight so the system is not fighting the tendency of the helicopter to want to move forward? I only have about 3 ounces so its very little.
Thanks

you should put the heli knife edge holding by the main grips vertical and let the heli balance itself around the mainshaft. I would get it as close as you can. You may find its worse then you think if you did not do it like this originally. 3 onces is Approx. 85 grams. i would try to get it closer.

I use a 2100 lipo so I think thats why I had to use nose weight. There is no electronics to speak of before because I use a 7100R and GY520. I'll check tonight and try and get neutral rather than slightly nose heavy before I start with the FBL.

Thanks

i use a 3600 lipo and it puts it spot on. My personal opinion is CG is more important then saving a few grams overall.

I agree with you 100% I would and have had others not follow my battery size for that reason.

Remove the extra weight from the front of your heli so it balances neutral.

On FBL Ive found you need to get correct CG if not when you do piro maneuvers heli will bobble around main shaft.

I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)
