Hi all

I recently received a used SL630 from a mate of mine. I'm planning to replace my existing SL420 on my trex 600N with the 630, since the 420 is not holding at all. It's all over the place, been struggling for months now to get the 420 sorted.

My last resort now is to replace the 420 with the 630, now according to the manual it should have a yellow jumper? The 630 I got is used and did not come with this jumper.(CSM0064 Frame rate link)

Can I use a pc jumper, or would the bind plug of a Spektrum Rx work?

Also will the SL630 work with the jumper enabled work with the following servo - Hitec HSC 6965HB Digital Ultra speed servo?

I assume the Hitec 6965HB mentioned in the manual is the same servo I have. So in that case the anwser would be yes

You jump +/- pins (edge of case and center) for 333hz frame rate.
No jumper = 250hz.
see here http://www.helituning.com/index.php...m-630-gyro.html
Expand out the quick ref card. You can use a PC jumper to short those pins. For a modern digital you will want 333hz.

The HS6965HB will work as a tail servo, but ideally you would want to use the Hitec programmer to take deadband to minimum.

A better choice for the tail servo would be a DS650 or a JR 8900
