Hi,

I currently run CP 30% in my helis but all of the local hobby shops in Westchester county has closed up or moved out (due to economy, high cost of living and taxes here).

It's getting hard to get any good fuels esp. CP 30%

I have a glow powered ducted fan airliner under construction and the RX21 perfers Wildcat Jet A fuel http://www.wildcatfuels.com/newsite/fuel_jet-a.html

I also would like to try out the Wildcat CY heli fuel to see how my OS engines like it.

I called Wildcat fuels and they said I have to buy 5 cases minimum before they can sell it to me

Does anyone know where I can get the Wildcat Jet A and the CY 30 one?

-Chris

Go to the new Magnum DS 30 blend and save tons of money and get tons of power.

I will never switch back to CP or wildcat.
I can buy three cases that equals 5 gal per case and only pay 17.60 a gal shipped to my door.

Just my opinion.

I will continue to use Magnum DS 30.

Best switch Ive done to date.
burned 10 gal of Magnum DS and not one issue motor wise nor running problems, tunes out great.

This hobby sucks, when your not flying.

One up for the Magnum fuel. Used it for years never had a problem. That goes for the D.S and heli 30.

I dont like rapicon or bayron fuels. We r using wild cat %15 and wild cat % 30 (CY) , those fuels r so good. But becarefull at using %30 wild cat , because this is so powerfull fuel so you need to open your needle or use your engine's needle setting at minimum 2 turns open if you dont do this, u can burn ur engine's parts, like me

I have used Wildcat youngblood 30% for a long time now and really like the consistently. I normally stock up at the Toledo Ohio RC expo and at IRCHA. Normally that is all I need I went through 14 cases of fuel in 2009

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

Well, if your problem is that you don't want to commit to order 5 cases from Wildcat, get together with some club friends and order together, that's what we do an get a better price. You may be allow to mix and match if you just want to try 1-2 gallons.

Note aside, Wildcat Jet A may be good stuff, but there is nothing magical about it (5% nitro + 23% Syn+castor blend). I personnaly don't care to run castor blends in any high performance piped engine as it just creates too much deposits.

If your are concerned about price, give Magnum fuels a call, they have a Ducted Fan formula in all synthetic and blended (like WC Jet A), as well as the Heli plus 30% which performs identical to CP 30% with better corrosion resistance, and the so much "screamed" Dynamic Series which is converting more and more folks.
