this happen around 5PM today,,

so I'm going Home driving down the Main Drag here in my Home Town, and this Truck passes me on the left pulling this 2 wheel Trailer with a Triumph Spitfire strapped on it,, well the car only had it's front tiers on the this 2 wheel Trailer,

I have seen these Trailers before, so I'm like "cool a Spitfire, don't see many of them", WOW next thing you know I see a "Hold Down Strap" fly off the left side of the Trailer,, well I try to catch-up but it was around 5 PM so the traffic wouldn't allow me,,

well about 1/4 mile down the road I'm thinking "what should I do, what should I do", then I see the Trailer way ahead of me and I see a 2nd "Hold Down Strap" fall off the right side of the Trailer,, WOW

so at this point I'm thinking I sure hope this guy doesn't loose his car, but what can I do, I can't get to him because of traffic,, then my turn comes up, I could catch-up to the Truck so I just took my turn, I felt so helpless,

boy I hope no-one gets hurt if that car comes off that Trailer !!!!!!

That's not good. I had a tie down strap break when hauling my motorcycle once. Luckily it had three more holding in place.

MX - try a Bike Shoe. My buddy and I had two on our trailer, almost rolled it coming back from the races, bikes never even twitched. Plus you don't sack out your suspension from having it so compressed all the time. Plus, so easy to load and un-load.

Hmm, that's interesting. Is it just a wheel chock type of thing? Id hate for my '07 yz450f to fly off the trailer.

I can not remember the last time I rode or seen a Bulltaco. That was the bike to have in those days.

So long and thanks for all the fish!

Remember Zundapp?

I used to have a Yamaha RD350. It was a two stroke 6-speed Race Division street bike. Front went up in every gear at the power band. Two car coils strapped on the frame fed each spark plug.

This is a picture of it with my daughter on it back in about 1984..

My first off road bike was a 1978 Suzuki 100. I kind of miss that old thing. It looked just like this.

I remember the Bulltaco. The shifter was on the left side instead of the right. I believe the one I rode was the Bulltaco Alpina. For some reason it was always blowing condensors.

If you skip me I can't play!

I used to ride my bike 10 miles on gravel roads with my brother, just to sit at the Honda shop and gawk at the "New Honda Elsinore".
My walls were plastered with the brochures and I think I gave my folks a migraine nagging them to get me one for years.
Never got one til I was 31. I always envied the kids that had bikes growing up.

I still have my 1976 Kawasaki KM100. My grandfather bought it new. I got it when he passed away. I still drive it around from time to time.

And here is my "grown up bike." 1994 Yamaha XT225. -Steve
