This is our first annual fun fly at one of Missouri's nicest fields. We are equipped with a new hover pad and 450 flight only area, full electric in pits and under the pavillion, 600’ X 50’ Asphalt Runway with 24’ X 36’ Pavilion and paved from pits to the runway. Pictures of the site,

I stopped by a couple times and this field is very nice. I haven't seen the 450 flight area though. Lucky I just got one. Now if only I can keep it together long enough to fly it.

Cool, sounds like fun. I will pass the word. Just walked over to MarkTwain (work next door) and see you have a flyer there.

Have you let the St Louis Whirlybirds know about the event?

I think that would be fine Dan.

Wild looking thing that is. With the soft wing is it a good filming/picture platform?

Tom, the hawkeye is designed as an aerial photography platform. There are guys using it for photos and video. I personally think if you do video with it, you need to put the video through a deshaker program to get the best results.

Less than a month to go and we have already got some great prizes from some of the vendors. Come help promote this Heli fun fly to make it one of the "must go" fun flys n Missouri.

Any questions don't hesitate to PM me.

Do you have any idea of the number of pilots yet?

No changes are permanent but...change is.

For a first year event, I would hope for 20 or more. I was at Evansville last weekend and they had 32 for their first try. Great little fun fly, going to 2 days next year. I have talked with most of the St. Louis Whirlybirds and they are planning on coming. They are looking forward to getting more flying in as they wouldn't have to work as they do at their own event.
