MFS Rotor Head
I am currently building a maxi joker 3DD kit with MFS rotor head.

Please can someone post some pictures of the MSF head as I seem to be doing something wrong? When the swash plate is all the way down (sitting on the top of the upper frames) the blades have positive pitch. When the swash plate is all the way up I am only getting approximately 0 degrees.

Normally when the swash plate is down you get negative pitch and when up you get positive pitch (at least this is true on other machines I have built) is the MJ3 different?

What is the pitch range on the MJ3?

Tail boom and torque tube questions?

With the tail boom there are 4 plastic bushes which are spaced out inside the boom. The inside hole of the plastic bushes is quite allot bigger than the torque tube itself. Are there supposed to be bearings in these bushes to support the torque tube?

Thank you,

yes you're right. place the bearings (part 196) in the bushes. take a look at this page as well: http://www.rosaurophotography.com/html/mj3/mj3_25.html

concerning the MFS rotor head I don't know but after I've found this thread https://rc.runryder.com/t563536 I guess its the right way...

That swash travel is correct. Swash down = pitch up, swash up = pitch down

Thanks for the help - I wish i had see the review earlier it is really well done.

Can you confirm what the standard pitch travel is on the MFS head - should i be getting +10 -10 degrees pitch for example?

A Maxi-Joker does not need symmetrical pitch, so go for -4 to +10 degree as start and adjust the pitch fitting to your motor/esc/battery (no break down, no shut down under full load of about 10 seconds).
